Younis Khan will be looking for salvation when he’ll be leading Pakistan team against New Zealand in The ODI’s, starting the next week in the UAE. After the loss of Pakistan against New Zealand in the semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 in South Africa, the skipper has suffered a great harassment with his career.

The Captain Younis Khan said that “New Zealand did play well in the semis and we’ll take the revenge in the upcoming series in UAE. Both The Teams will play 3 ODI’s and Twenty20’s in the UAE and then will fly over to New Zealand for a test series. Younis said that his boys should learn something about the team effort from New Zealand. “New Zealand is one of the teams who plays in a unity “, Younis said. “The Conditions in UAE is same for both the team. So no question of Advantage and Disadvantage is there”, the skipper added.

Pakistan’s head selector Iqbal Qasim recommended the Skipper to concentrate well on his performance in the upcoming series in UAE as it will help the Team to gain a boost. Meanwhile, Shahid Afridi, an all-rounder of the team, has proposed the selectors not to keep him for the test series as he wants to concentrate on the Twenty20’s and ODI’s. Younis Khan said that he would be keen to see the team wining the upcoming competitions and also added that they have the potential to do so.
