Pakistani military today claimed its forces have entered the important Taliban stronghold of Makeen in south waziristhan, with some serious casualties.According to the pak army today security forces have moved into the town of Makeen, which was considered as the base headquarter of the terrorist .A large part of the town had been cleared and the home of the slain Taliban chief Baitullah Mehesud had been demolished.
Twenty-four militants were killed and around 21 militants gunned down around makeen.This sudden act of the pak army is seen as the revenge action by them. Few week before an army brigadier was attacked and injured by the Taliban at heart of Islamabad. Before that militants also attacked the Pakistan army headquarter at Rawalpindi, where the director of the defence services guard was ambushed.
Pakistan army had decided to clean of Taliban’s from Pakistan.They have distributed leaflets through helicopter to the civilian for not to panic and for boycotting the Taliban.
Pakistan government has admitted the truth of the operation also. According to them they have chalked the positions of the Taliban’s and if every thing goes right they will smash out Talliban out of the country within few month or so.
