Indian students were again attacked in Australia A 22-year-old boy was beaten up by a group of so called Australian dudes, who also said the wounded that in this country there is no home for them. Sai Ratan Tiwari, who is from Madhya Pradesh, was going to temple with a pal on Sunday, when two Australians stopped them and asked where they were going.

Tiwari, a student of information system of Ballarat University, said he was terrified to disclose that he was visiting a temple.They punched him on his face and told them that ‘Australia is no place of home for them.’

He said when his friend was trying to make a call to police, the attackers snatched the phone and fled away..Then they called the police .  They arrived after 10 minutes and after that the ambulance arrived.Then they were admitted to the hospital.Tiwary already contacted the Indian Consulate General’s office in Australia which has given him a doctor’s number for any further treatment.

The episode has already been reported to Frankton Police Station. Tiwari is the newest casualty of racial attacks in Australia.Last week, 36-year-old Amrit Goyal, an engineering student, was racially abused by a group of Australians, including a woman, who also punched him in his left eye.

More than three dozen Indian students have been attacked in various Australian cities since June this year.
