New Delhi-bound train derailed near Jaipur on Saturday early morning and killed at least nine people and more than 80 people were badly injured. Vipin Kumar Pande, superintendent of police said that fifteen coaches of the train flew off tracks as soon as the train driver of a sudden used the brakes to stop, this happened because of very poor visibility in that region. This unexpected accident happened near Banshkov, a village almost 25 miles south of Jaipur.

A broken rail track perforate an AC coach and killed some passengers in that, Pande told to Press. “Rescue operation is still on and the cause of this accident were being looked into” chief minister Ashok Gehlot said.

Rescuers cut opened some of the coaches using equipments to free trammeled passengers from the train. All injured people were soon taken to a nearby hospital through vehicles. Accidents in rail network becoming very common in India now-a-days and it is blamed on poor maintenance. India’s railway network ferryboats more than 18 million passengers daily, is blighted by outmoded technology and overcrowding.

Recently, a passenger train crashed into rear carriage of another train which occurred in Agra, the home of the Taj Mahal, killing 22 people and wounding 16 people.
