Google feels sorry over the racially offensive clip of Michelle Obama that appears when the users search for the images of the US first lady. Google has placed a notice on the image that titles “Offensive Search Results”, that says “Sometimes our search results can be offensive. We agree.” It refused for removing the picture from the search results.

The Users who click at this notice are directed to the Google’s statement that explains its results may include some disturbing content that may be even from innocuous queries.

The company apologizes for this upsetting experience while using Google. Google says that a website’s ranking in the search results rely basically on the computer algorithms that use thousands of factors for calculating a relevance of the page to a demanded query. The search engine does not remove any of the images simply due to the reason that it receives complaints or the content is not popular.

The California-based web site says that it will remove certain images in case ordered by law. Scott Rubin, a Google’s spokesman will not provide the details that how this image ended up as the top result for a wife of President Barack Obama. David, the author of the Google story says that in case the Google gets a call from the White House that tells them that it is against law to include an offensive image of such kind that portrays the first lady in the racist manner like monkey or an ape, then the company will be obliged to remove it immediately.
