Today, the President Obama to announce the deployment of the 34,000 American troops to Afghanistan and he has issued the new orders to top military commanders. These extra troops from US are expected to begin arriving in south and east of country in January, along with the orders of dislodging the Taliban from firm holds in the Helmand Province, the place where militants had defied the British forces for many years.

The US Marines with soldiers from army’s 101st Airborne Division and also the 10th Mountain Division are even expected surrounding Kandahar, the Afghanistan’s second city so as to cut off Taliban units for operating in open defiance of regime of the President, Hamid Karzai.

The President Obama is not going to give a detailed speech at West Point military academy but he will surely offer the American voters with the exit strategy as well as will set the clear tests for progressing in fight against the corruption which must be passed by Mr. Karzai to ensure the continuity of US support. He will reveal the strategy to around 31 invited Congressional Democrats as well as Republicans this afternoon prior he flies to West Point, New York state for addressing the nation.
