Bin laden previously was to taught to be hiding in Pakistan side of the border with Afghanistan. But the detainee said, the militants where avoiding the border to get safe from the US drone attack.

MR Gates, comment came after the US president barack obama announced the decision this week of sending 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan. He recalled that the US was fighting there is response to the 9/11 attack against America by AL-Qaeda and had made decision to invade only after the Taliban refused to turn over Osama bin laden.
