After pulling out a gamble on Sunday by playing with three seemers and a spinner, one must say that numbers went right for him that day. Usually Dhoni plays with five bowlers but things were lot different this time. Dhoni might be satisfied with his own form as well. He played a sparkling knock of 76 last Sunday to guide his team to a match winning score.
Even after consecutive two wins against Sri Lanka, M factor terror is still their on Indian batsman. Mendis took three wickets in last ODI as well. But Dhoni now seems to have find the way out now to sort this trouble. He says the only way out to negotiate Mendis is to attack him. Attacking this bowler and taking him for few runs will take him under pressure. Dhoni is now with the famous saying that Attack is the Best Defense. He feels that if you will keep defending Mendis he will always be right on top. So its must to attack him. Dhoni feels that playing with seven batsman is more advantageous in these circumstances than to play with the fifth bowler. He thinks that part time bowler can prove out to be a handy trump card.
