Weather Must Feel Pity On Beijing Olympics

Intense rain and lightening badly interrupted Olympic games battle on Thursday, which makes the canoe and rowing sports shifted to Friday and the quarterfinals of tennis sincerely delayed. The semi-finals of women’s to be held in the kayak and the finals of double canoe will now be played on Friday due to cruel storms which came and tattered the venue at Shunyi, which is situated just to the north of Beijing. Semi-finals of canoe doubles could only be played before poor weather uprooted the other events.
The semi-final of rowing, which was to be organized at the similar venue, was also postponed to Friday. Christine Brinker, a German shooter who received a bronze medal in the women’s skeet final at the Shooting Club of Beijing, also agreed that the environment was tough. She said that her shoes and feet were just too wet because of the rain and it made very difficult to shoot the target.
Heavy rain also putted quarterfinals of tennis in Olympic on hold with heavy rain and thunderstorms, all set to include disorder to the event.
