Former India coach Greg Chappell will help the Australia for the upcoming four-Test series on Indian soil. Batting legend Chappell coached India from 2005-2007 before taking over as head of Cricket Australia’s Centre of Excellence in Brisbane this year & now he is working as assistant coach of the 15-man Australian squad with the primary aim of guiding the young squad. According to Australian pace bowler Brett Lee it is really good to use Chappell’s knowledge of Indian conditions for the series starting in Bangalore on October 9.

Being a former India coach is not only the reason to use Greg Chappell but his experience also considered during the selection. Lee also added that we are looking forward to improve our game with the help of Greg Chappell’s batting and fielding experience. According to Australian pace bowler he is key member of the Australian team that can turn the things any time. What he has done for the Indian players that is amazing but this time he took a new challenge & that is really great for Australian cricket.

Australian team’s week-long training camp in Jaipur is organized by Chappell where he gave a lot of time & effort to Rajasthan state’s cricket academy. So we are really delighted with this series & we want to win this series at any cost & off course ODI series too.
